Please note that communication with Psychotherapist via email and text are NOT compliant with HIPAA requirements for privacy and security. If you elect to communicate with me via email or text, you are agreeing that you would like for me to respond in kind and fully accept the risks associated with doing so. Please do not include any information that you wish to remain private or confidential. Email and text should be reserved for basic communication only. I make every effort to respond to emails and texts within 24-48 business hours, with the exception of weekends and holidays .

CLIENT PORTAL

Once we have scheduled your initial appointment I will send you a link to my client portal. Through this portal you will be able to complete all of the initial paperwork, access your teletherapy session, send and receive secure messages with me, send documents to me, review resources I share with you, and more. I make every effort to respond to messages sent through the client portal within 24-48 business hours, with the exception of weekends and holidays .

TELEPHONE/VOICEMAIL

I am often not available by telephone. When I am unavailable my telephone is answered by a confidential voicemail. I make every effort to return calls within 24-48 business hours, with the exception of weekends and holidays.

URGENT AND EMERGENCY CONTACTS

I do not provide emergency or urgent services or 24-hour phone service. If you are experiencing a crisis that is not life threatening and are unable to reach me, please contact the Hope4NC Helpline at 855-587-3463 in North Carolina, the Statewide Crisis Response Line at 833-364-2274 in South Carolina, or the WARM Line at 866- 400-6428 in Virginia.
